Meet SHANNA REYNOLDS, IBCLC CLC
International Board Certified Lactation Consultant with more than 15 years of breastfeeding education and family support experience.
Shanna Reynolds has been supporting breastfeeding families since 2011, when she began her career as a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor with WIC. She became a Certified Lactation Counselor through The Healthy Children Project in 2012 and later earned the prestigious International Board Certified Lactation Consultant credential.
Shanna has completed specialized training with Star Lactation in infant oral function, oral habilitation, and the assessment of tongue and lip ties. Her professional experience includes teaching prenatal breastfeeding classes, supporting families in hospitals and birth centers, providing in-home lactation visits, and facilitating breastfeeding support groups.
As a mother of three—including twins—Shanna also brings meaningful personal experience to her work. She understands that every feeding journey is different and is passionate about providing knowledgeable, compassionate, and judgment-free support that helps families make informed decisions and reach their individual goals.

Our Team
Alex has been an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) since 2025 and has worked in both private practice and hospital settings. Alex is also a BSN RN and has practiced in the ED since 2017. She has a passion for supporting mothers during the postpartum period and throughout each individual breastfeeding experience. Alex has 2 daughters that she has breastfed for over 2.5 years and counting! Both of her daughters had tongue and lip ties and her own challenges with breastfeeding inspired her to obtain further education to help new mothers!

Meet Cassidy
Cassidy is a certified breastfeeding specialist currently building hours to sit for the IBCLC exam in Spring 2027. She has a passion for supporting postpartum mothers in building confidence to feed their babies. Cassidy believes it is a gift from God to be able to use our bodies to nourish our babies and wants to help each breastfeeding dyad reach their specific goals. She is grateful to have nursed her daughter into toddlerhood and is currently breastfeeding her second (a son) with plans to do the same for him!
Cassidy supports families in Danville, Chatham , Pittsylvania County and surrounding areas.
